Students will develop a message from their biblical exegesis done in the Bible?Interpretation?class. Thus, that class is a prerequisite for this one. Students will also learn the art of delivering a message that will move and challenge listeners to action.
In Canvas, students will?be able to evaluate and comment on the videos the other students upload.
1) The student will develop an understanding of the components of an effective message through textbook reading, as well as viewing and evaluating great messages.
2) The student will write a one minute introduction to a message, create a video of the student delivering the introduction, and upload it to Canvas for evaluation and comment.
3) The student will develop a one minute conclusion to a message, create a video of the student delivering the conclusion, and upload it to Canvas for evaluation and comment.
4) The student will develop and video a five minute message (including the introduction and conclusion already created) and upload it to Canvas for evaluation and comment.
