From a Christian worldview, the process of spiritual formation is studied as it applies to individuals and the church. Practical application is made to contemporary ministry settings.

Course Objectives/Competencies

1) Describe three Biblical/Christian worldview principles and explain how you practice each in your personal and/or ministry setting. (individual)

2) Describe three spiritual formation characteristics expected to be seen in the real-life of Christians in each of the A.B.C.D. steps, pillars or dimensions. Give examples of how one can assist someone in growing from one phase to the next. (ministry)

3) Identify people and practices of five leaders in the Bible where the spiritual formation process principles are demonstrated. Cite how you will use such practices. (biblical)
